PV DP Sticker Sign — Reflective Vinyl (3M), ⌀100mm
PV DP Sign — Reflective Vinyl (3M), ⌀100mm
Green reflective PV disconnection point (PV DP) sticker sign — UV-stabilised vinyl on genuine 3M reflective material, made to be found fast in an emergency. Compliant with AS/NZS 5033 solar signage requirements.
The PV DP sign marks the photovoltaic disconnection point on a solar installation — the first thing fire and emergency crews look for before working on or around a property with rooftop solar.
This version is printed on genuine 3M reflective material, so it stays visible at night under torchlight or headlights, exactly when it matters most. The print is UV-stabilised vinyl with a strong adhesive backing for long-term outdoor exposure on meter boxes, switchboard enclosures, and external walls.
Genuine 3M reflective substrate — high night-time visibility for emergency services
UV-stabilised print — won't fade out of compliance in the Australian sun
Strong adhesive backing, suited to metal enclosures and painted surfaces
Green with white text per standard signage convention
Also available in engraved Traffolyte — see PV DP Sign — Engraved Traffolyte
About PV identification signs
A circular green reflective sign marked "PV" is required at the main switchboard and meter panel of every grid-connected solar installation, so emergency responders immediately know a live PV system is present before starting work.
Under AS/NZS 5033:2021, the plain "PV" mark on its own is no longer sufficient — it must carry a suffix identifying the isolation method at that point: DP (disconnection point), SW (load-break disconnection switch), or AC (microinverter system). Minimum 100mm diameter, durable for the service life of the system.
